Paid Holidays  -  Paid Holidays for Road and Yard service and covers terms.

 


 

Checking Period  -  All Kansas City East Engineers now have a checking period.  If you are an Engineer working Kancea, and do not have an assigned checking period ask the Local Chairman for an assignment.  All other Division 75 members working other than Kancea must contact the proper L.C. for their area for an assignment.

 

The following guidelines are provide;

  • You must accumulate the full 4,200 miles in your assigned checking period.

  • Engineers who lay off on miles without meeting the guidelines, will be marked up immediately upon recognition.

  • You cannot layoff on miles if the "next" trip will put you over on your miles. 

  • You cannot carry over miles, and the only miles that count are actual trip miles.  (Deadheads are counted as full miles)


 

Deadhead Letter  -  Please read this agreement;  The MCO Number for activated deadheads requesting to leave early is 817-234-2357.  As always, all Division 75 members are expected to be professional in upholding this agreement)  Highlights below;

  • You MUST be designated to DH BEFORE you call the MCO.

  • When your are designated to DH, you MUST TALK TO THE MCO before you can leave!

  • You CANNOT LEAVE A MESSAGE, If you are unable to get them on phone keep trying!

  • Reminder: you do not have to leave early, you can stay at away from home terminal and be called in proper order, your choice.

  • On arrival at home terminal you will have a ticket and you will tie up.

  • A lot of work was put into this agreement, DO NOT SCREW IT UP.


 

Activations  -  Once activated, you are subject to call. There is an activation window 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after the assigned hour. If you are on the active board, you ARE subject to call and must take the call.

 


 

Health Insurance  -  To All:  Please make sure you choose the correct provider plan for your needs. This information is sent to you and you must read it and send the paperwork back on the provider you think is the best fit for you and your family.  UHC or BCBS: If you are having problems with your health care coverage here is the contact information, BNSF Cinda Beatty, 817-352-1258.  (Please Members, don't call unless you are unable to solve health care issues with your provider directly)
 


 

Lay off DIF  -  To all; BNSF is now tracking any DIF Layoff. It will be Red Flagged if you do not submit bereavement pay.  The agreement on laying off DIF is for only those covered for bereavement pay.  (The link is off of the BNSF Website, look under ATSF Eastern and Western Lines for qualifications) 


 

Division 75 Helping Hands  -  To All: We are trying to get the word out about our newly formed "Helping Hands."  Please be aware, and make others aware that all donations in check form should be made out to "Helping Hands" as posted on the bulletin board.  Thanks to everyone for their support.
